Buenos Aires, December 15 (Argentinian News Agency) - The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) reported an attack on the headquarters of the Union of Glass Industry Workers and Related of the Argentine Republic (SEIVARA), led by Cristian Jerónimo, around 1:30 AM on Sunday. The general secretary was the alleged victim of the criminal act, as he was inside the premises located in the La Boca neighborhood (Av. Garay 371). "We trust that what happened will be clarified," added the unionist. From the Glass Union itself and the CGT, they ensure that this event "cannot be analyzed as an isolated episode, but as a message," since it occurred three days before the mobilization called for December 18 at Plaza de Mayo. "The moment this happens is totally suspicious, however, it does not change the course of the labor movement at all, on the contrary, it strengthens the conviction of moving forward with the struggle plan, the December 18 mobilization, and the entire project in defense of workers' rights, in the face of a labor reform promoted by the government without calling for dialogue," they concluded.
